If you have difficulty putting the battery into the remote and shutting the cover, please refer to this post on my facebook page with photos to help guide you on tweaking the metal piece inside to allow the battery to fit better so the cover can be locked on.

For those that cannot access the page, I am reposting below.

ATTENTION SELFIE STICK CUSTOMERS!!!

If you find that the battery does not fit well or the remote isn't working correctly, please see the pics below. There is a small metal pin that may be protruding far out in the battery compartment. If you push that small pin IN just a tad, it helps the battery fit in the spot better and once in place, the light should come on. You can then connect your phone to the remote via bluetooth.

The name of the connection is AB SHUTTER 3 or something similar.

Let me know if you are still having problems. thank you!

More Tupperware Recipes: Roasted Whole Chicken and Frozen Treats

1/21/2015

I finally got my Tupperware Stack Cooker and couldn't wait to use it. I've done chicken breast easily in here. Now, I wanted to try roasting a whole chicken. I bought a 3.5 lb young chicken and buttered it inside and out. Then seasoned it with salt and pepper inside and out.

It fit perfectly in the stack cooker (deeper bowl of the 2) and I popped it in the microwave. My microwave is a 1250 watt. Max wattage recommended by Tupperware is 900. So I lowered the power to 70%.

After 30 minutes, the bird was perfectly cooked. It was not dry and tasted wonderful! This sized chicken fed my family of four with leftovers. We stripped the remaining meat, tossed it in our Power Chef with some mayo, onions, and pepper and voila! We had chicken salad for tomorrows lunch. Slap that between two slices of bread. Put that into our tupperware sandwich keepers and we were ready to roll for the next day.

We also had frozen creamy Peach fruit bars for dessert. My god where have I been all these years without Tupperware?

I will post the recipes for each dish below. Enjoy!!
RECIPES

Microwave BBQ chicken bites
2 Chicken Breasts (approx 1.5 lbs)
BBQ sauce to taste (use as much or as little as you want)
Seasonings, salt, pepper if you wish.

Place thawed chicken breasts in the stack cooker. Coat with barbecue sauce. Use as much as you need. You don't need to put salt and pepper but if you want to, you can. Always add salt and pepper later to prevent overseasoning.

Cook chicken in microwave (900 watt recommended. Adjust power as necessary) at 6 minutes per pound.  We cooked ours for 9 minutes.

When it is done cooking, let the chicken rest for a few minutes as it continues the cooking process in its "steam bath".  Be careful when opening the lid, contents will be piping hot.

Remove chicken and cut into pieces. Put the pieces back into the stack cooker, replace the cover, and shake it up to coat the meat with the "gravy" in the pot.

Serve and enjoy!

You can cook as much as the stack cooker can hold. Just remember the key is 6 minutes per pound.

Roasted Whole Chicken

One 3.5 - 4 lb chicken, thawed
Butter to coat the chicken
Salt and Pepper to taste

Remove the giblets from the chicken. Rinse and dry the bird. Coat the inside and outside with butter. Add salt and pepper to your desire.

Place the dressed chicken into the stack cooker and place the lid.
Cook in the microwave (900 watt recommended. Adjust power as necessary) at 6 minutes per pound.

I cooked mine for 30 minutes at 70% power because my microwave is 1250 watts.

When done, be careful when opening the lid. Carve, serve, and enjoy!

Frozen Creamy Fruit Bars

Measure:
1-1/2 to 2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 cups frozen fruit of your choice (we used peaches)
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 Tablespoons of powdered sugar

Load all the ingredients into the Power Chef or Chef Quick Pro System.
I recommend putting all the fresh fruits in first and then pouring 1-1/4 cups of heavy cream first with all ingredients and mix. Add cream as needed to help loosen the the frozen dessert.

Crank the handle or pull the string as much as you want until you get the desired chunkiness of the fruit.

You can eat it as is (soft serve texture) or put it in a freezer mate (pictured above) and freeze completely for a yummy treat later.

Microwave Pot Roast? Oh Yes!

1/15/2015

I got my SECOND Tupperware microwave pressure cooker and boy am I loving life!

Tonight I made pot roast in ONE HOUR in the microwave. I could not believe my results. I'll be making this for my Tupperware Demo Party this Saturday at 5 pm. If you're in the area stop by and see how well this gadget works with your own eyes and taste buds.

Here's the low down on what I did.

Ingredients
3 lbs of pot roast
2 celery stalks, cut in large chunks
1-2 cups of baby carrots
1 onion, cut in large chunks
3 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed

I cut the pot roast in large cubes and laid it down at the bottom of the pressure cooker. I seasoned the meat with salt and pepper and covered with water up to the max fill line that's embossed on the inside of the pot.

Make sure all of the meat is covered in water. Anything exposed above the water line will dry out.

I put the cover on, locked it down, and put it in the microwave for 30 minutes. (My microwave is 1000 watts for those who are wondering. Per Tupperwares instructions, it says max 900 watts but I don't have any problems with using it in mine.)

After the first 30 minute round (you don't want to go longer than that per Tupperware directions embossed in the lid), I allowed the pressure to release slowly on its own. This took about 10 minutes or so.

I checked the meat and it was quite tender at this point. I removed some of the excess water to make room for the veggies. I added all the veggies on top starting with the diced potatoes and dumping the rest of it in the pot.

I put this back in the microwave for another 15 minutes. I allowed it to depressurize and then opened the cover. It came out PERFECT! The meat could've used another 15 minutes but the veggies were not overdone and flavorful!

I added a little bit more salt and pepper to taste and added back the liquid I removed earlier.

The meat was tender and not dry. The veggies were done just right and the seasoning turned out great. Simple salt and pepper.

This pot made more than enough for my family of four and I still had enough to pack for lunch for me, my husband, my mom, and myself!

Next time, I'll cook the meat for 45 minutes and then add the veggies in for the last 15 minutes for a more softer meat. This wasn't bad at all but I'm sure another 15 minutes would make the meat melt in your mouth.

You could even add cabbage to this recipe if space allows.  I'll try that next time.

If you want this pressure cooker, I did sign up with Tupperware specifically for this pot and their other cooking gadgets. I love this thing and look forward to seeing your recipes!

You can visit my Tupperware page at www.mytupperware.com/mariaolipas

On a side note, I just received my onion and potato keeper and absolutely love it. It's stackable so it gives me more room in my kitchen and I no longer have to wonder where I'm going to store these items.
