Are those real?

I get asked about the flowers I use. I always wear one when I'm in the mainland. Sometimes when I'm at home too. It just depends on my mood and where I'm going that day.

I only buy my flower picks from Crafts Way.  For my friends who are visiting the islands that want to pick up some pretty flower picks or other hair accessories, go there. They have two locations on Oahu that I know of. One in Aiea and the other is right across the street from our office in Ward Warehouse.

If you're lucky, you can find a coupon in the Midweek for savings on your purchase.

Their products are well made, durable, and lightweight. I don't use clay flowers, deco clay, or hard foam flowers. Though they are really pretty and lightweight, the petals break very easily. The foam that Crafts Way uses is extremely durable and does not lose its shape.

When I travel I store my flower pics in a 32 oz round ziploc twist n loc container to keep the flowers from getting smashed in my luggage. Upon arrival, I pull them up from the container to allow them to spread out, air out, and refresh themselves to get back to the shape they're supposed to be. I keep a small sachet of air freshener beads from Longs/CVS at the bottom of the container. The container looks pretty on the bathroom counter, the freshener smells up the bathroom and when I wear my flowers, they smell real too! Smart ya?!
