Timeshares...we own some. I've blogged a few times about them. If you want to read more beyond the linked one I've included, you can use the search box at the top right corner to find my other blogs about using our timeshares.

As owners, we often get letters, emails, and sometimes phone calls from companies wanting to help us get rid of them or remove maintenance fees. They are all scams in my eyes. If we wanted to sell our timeshares, WE will go out to find the information to do so. People who send out random letters and phone calls always raise red flags.

Usually, I just ignore them or trash them. In this case, I decided to google them. Not just the phone number, but the address as well and wanted to share what I found. I'm not going to flat out say this company is a scam. You can deduce that yourself.

Per my previous blog about spoof numbers, this doesn't appear to be one. However, I did find other people who did the same thing I did with this information and once again, there are many others out there that were solicited the same way. The difference between me and most of them was they don't even own timeshares!

When I googled the address listed on the letter it was a shared office space run by Intelligent Office. So multiple people use this address as their place of business.

The next time I get letters like this I will mark it return to sender and send it BACK to them. Do the public a favor and DO THE SAME THING. If you ever get crap snail mail that is obviously solicitations, send it back.

If you get letters that come with a prepaid envelope, shove their letter into that prepaid envelope and mail it back. Make them pay for that postage and fill THEIR inboxes with JUNK MAIL!!!

I think if we all did this, it would make them rethink how they decide to market themselves. Besides, sending mail keeps our postal workers employed. Those companies prepaid for those envelopes. You may as well use them.

I received a very-similar letter today, from the same folks. Looks like they've changed their phone number, though.
When I Google "Resort Services Center" I found a weird set of 5 websites that purport to warn you about Resort Services Center. The 5 sites have different names, but nearly identical phone numbers and even though the websites look different at first glance, it is easy to tell from the contents that they were created by the same person.

Hi Jay,

Thank you for your comment. Good looking out! I did find the same thing. Pretty interesting. I hope more people continue to investigate and post their findings to help save others from possible scams.

Have a great weekend!

Maria
